WebbT14 Wi-Fi is ridiculously slow I have a very strange issue: the wifi connection to my ISP's modem/router (it's PlusNet in the UK if it matters and the router is called PlusNet Hub One) is really really slow when connecting my thinkpad to the 5GHz network. Last speedtest was 2Mbps DL and 0.7Mbps UL. Webb8 apr. 2006 · I had similar problems with my Thinkpad, not every 3 minutes but just general wireless sporadic behavior such as not seeing AP's correctly. I just uninstalled the Lenovo connection manager component or whatever it is called and let XP handle it and have not had any problems since.
