The normal RT-PCR test to detect Covid-19 will cost Rs 600 instead of Rs 700 and the rapid RT-PCR test will cost Rs 2,900 instead of Rs 3,400. The new rates will come into effect on Wednesday. There were two options: a slow PCR test for Rs 700 (result in 6 hours) and a fast PCR test for Rs 2900 (result in 45 minutes to an hour).
